This study is motivated by the things that are happening in our society
including on social media, which shows that people are not following
Islamic beliefs as they should. This is a problem because Islamic beliefs
or akidah are the foundation of being a good Muslim. The goal of this
study is to look at how important akidah is in shaping the character
and morality of a good Muslim. To do this me. Analyzed a lot of books,
journals and documents. What me found out is that akidah is like the
root of a tree that supports the Islamic way of life and it helps people
develop good character, which is called Ihsan. I am also found out that
the way people are taught about akidah now is not working well. It is
not helping people deal with the problems of life like only caring about
oneself and wanting too much money and material things. So i think
that the way akidah is taught needs to be completely changed. We need
to teach it in a way that's relevant to peoples lives and i need to involve
not just schools but also families and social media. If we can do this
then young Muslims can develop a sense of what they believe in and
they can navigate the challenges of living in a global world. Akidah is
the key, to helping Muslims stay true to their beliefs and values. It is
what will help them become good people.
