Abstract

The use of mobile phone technology as a learning medium has become a significant phenomenon in modern education. This article explores the benefits of mobile phones as an alternative to overcome obstacles to accessing textbooks at MA Manarul Huda, a religious secondary school where textbooks are not adequately available. This research uses participatory observation methods and in-depth interviews with teachers and students to understand the impact of cellphone use on the learning process. The results show that mobile phones not only increase access to learning materials but also promote student interaction, independence, and creativity. The implication of this research is the importance of integrating technology well in learning practices to improve the quality of education in schools that face similar challenges.
